Reaching out into our communities is vital to our organization,
developing relationships with community leaders, media, school faculty
and local civic groups can greatly assist each post in achieving the VFW
mission.
We are very active in community service performing a Memorial Day and Veteran's Day ceremony at a local cemetery and placing flags on the graves of all veterans. We are responsible for road cleanup on a 2-mile stretch where the U.S. Armory is located. Donations are regularly delivered to the local Veteran's homeless shelter. Any veteran in need is provided assistance upon request.
